Paris House – Woburn

Originally built in 1878 in Paris, at the end of the 19th Century the timber framed building was dismantled and shipped piece by piece to its current home in the stunning 22 acre deer park on The Duke of Bedford’s Estate in Bedfordshire.

After a colourful culinary history, Alan Murchison purchased Paris House at the end of 2009 and the new Paris House opened on the 10th February 2010. Paris House blends modern culinary techniques with traditional foods and the “retro” menus are designed to evoke memories of the past. The restaurant was awarded a prestigious Michelin-star in January 2011.

Restaurant Angelique – Dartmouth

Set in arguably the best location in Dartmouth in a stunning historic building with views over the estuary, Restaurant Angélique has a long history as a fine dining restaurant and was one of the UK’s original destination restaurants in the 70s & 80s under Joyce Molyneux. In more recent times John Burton-Race ran the restaurant as The New Angel until his departure in summer 2010. The 10 in 8 Fine Dining Group acquired the Restaurant in Dartmouth along with its supporting small hotel’s business in October 2010.

In January 2011 the Group opened the restaurant under it’s new name “Restaurant Angélique.” The group employed the imagination of the residents of Dartmouth to inspire the new name and Murchison said “we were delighted with the hundreds of ideas that we were presented with and are really pleased with this new name”
